These terms apply to your use of Outlier, run by Teun Slootweg, Schotlandstraat 85, 2034 LC Haarlem, the Netherlands, KvK number 98548174. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: teun.slootweg@gmail.com.
The service
Outlier analyzes public TikTok content from accounts you choose, shows which videos performed well relative to their own channel, sorts the audience's comments, and generates content ideas and scripts with AI. It does not post anything for you and does not connect to your TikTok account. Outlier is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.
Your account
- One account per person. Keep your login details to yourself.
- Give accurate details and keep your email address up to date; we use it for billing and important notices.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Trial, plans and billing
- New accounts can start a 7-day free trial once. A payment card is required to start it.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you picked, and then every month on the same date.
- Each plan has monthly limits shown on the pricing page. Unused limits don't carry over.
- You can switch plans or cancel any time from your billing page. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Prices are in US dollars and include any VAT or sales tax.
- [Refunds and the EU right of withdrawal: confirm the wording for consumers before launch.]
Using it fairly
- Use Outlier to research and create your own content. Don't use it to copy, re-upload or impersonate someone else's work.
- Don't resell access, share an account, or try to get around plan limits.
- Don't use it to harass anyone or for anything illegal.
AI output
Ideas, analyses and scripts are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check facts before you publish, fill in the placeholders with your own information, and make sure what you post follows TikTok's rules and the law. You decide what you publish, and you're responsible for it.
Ownership
What you put in, and the scripts and ideas generated for you, are yours to use. Outlier itself, its software and design, remains ours. Public content from other creators stays theirs; Outlier only shows it to you for analysis.
Availability
Outlier depends on public data and on outside services. We work to keep it running but can't guarantee it will always be available or that every account or video can be fetched.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost revenue or views, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. [Have this section reviewed, especially for consumers.]
Ending your account
You can stop any time by cancelling your plan and asking us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; for important changes we'll email you at least 30 days in advance. Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in Haarlem, unless consumer law gives you a different choice.
